Origins
Korean traditional colors centre on obangsaek, the five directional colors blue, red, yellow, white and black, balanced by the contrast between pure jeongsaek and mixed gansaek. Dancheong temple painting made the palette widely visible.
The system
This page groups colors by jeongsaek and gansaek, keeping hangul names and romanisation with exact HEX, OKLCH and WCAG values.
In practice
A reference for hanbok, dancheong, crafts and modern Korean branding, and a vivid source for high-contrast accent colors.
